Utilizes a built in battery with the patented solar technology which allows day time or night time use. Turned on by day, the fountain will run continuously, sun or clouds. The battery ensures uninterrupted water flow even when clouds pass by. On a sunny day, fountain will run longer than usual. For night time use, simply turn the fountain off during the day, and the unit charges for up to six hours of use at night on a full battery.
